Phishing Samammer claiming to be from eBay and advising my account has been compromised. I DON'T have an eBay account! Very Dodgy.
Received call on my mobile from this number claiming to be from eBay and that my account had been used to purchase a $99 gift card. When I said I hadn't, they told me my account had been compromised. When I asked how would I know they were genuinely from eBay and said that I'd log in to my account, they insisted I wouldn't be able to because it had been compromised and they offered to give me their employee number. Hung up. Checked eBay account. No gift cards purchased. Assume this is a scam.
Scam robocall saying someone is taking $200 out of my PayPal account.
eBay scammer.
SCAM called. I listened to the voicemail claiming it's eBay and a direct debit is in progress.
Called me this morning, I answered but didn't say anything then it hung up. Guessing it was a scam call.
Missed call that rang for 1 second before hanging up.
I received a claim notification stating there is a claim on my eBay account for $299. This raises a red flag for me, as I haven't made such a claim and am worried about potential fraudulent activity.
