What Our Users Reviewed
The call came through with a name listed as Charters Towers from a Queensland number. I always grow suspicious when a caller identifies themselves with a name but doesn't leave a voicemail.
The caller claimed to be from a solar company promoting solar panels, stating they were based in "Charters Towers," which they also referred to as "Brisbane." This incorrect geographic information leads me to believe this is a scam.
Scam caller spruiking solar panels. Number appeared to be from Charters Towers, but when asked his location he said Brisbane city. When pushed further he said Maple Street. He got annoyed by my questions and said he didn't have time for this, did I want the solar offer or not? I ended call at that time.
