Is 02 7912 3212 actually from Wine Concierge Club?
One contributor confirmed the caller identified as Wine Concierge Club when they answered 0279123212. However, numbers can be spoofed, so the actual origin may differ. If you're interested in their offer, hang up and call the organisation directly using a number from their official website rather than trusting 02 7912 3212.
Why doesn't 02 7912 3212 leave a voicemail?
Two of the three reports for 0279123212 involved no voicemail being left. Telemarketers often don't leave messages because they rely on recipients recognising the number and calling back, or they're using automated systems that simply dial without message capability. This tactic avoids creating evidence of unwanted contact.
Why do I keep getting calls from similar numbers to 02 7912 3212?
One contributor noted that 0279123212 appears similar to other spam numbers they received, with only a few digits changed. This is a common tactic called 'number rotation' - telemarketers use slight variations of the same base number to evade consumer blocks and appear as different callers.
Should I register with the Do Not Call Register to stop calls from 02 7912 3212?
Yes. Register at donotcall.gov.au if you haven't already. Telemarketers calling 0279123212 should respect this register. If 02 7912 3212 continues calling after 30 days, document the calls and lodge a complaint with ACMA showing the breach.
What does Wine Concierge Club actually sell?
Based on the name, it appears to be a wine subscription or advisory service. However, the reports from 02 7912 3212 don't provide details about what specifically is being offered. If you're curious, look up the company independently online or contact them directly rather than engaging with this caller.
Can I block 02 7912 3212 on my phone?
Yes. Most Australian mobile phones allow you to block numbers directly in your contacts or call logs. Block 0279123212 immediately after a call. However, if they rotate numbers, you may receive calls from similar variations - in that case, report the pattern to ACMA and the Do Not Call Register for broader action.
