The caller claimed to be from Commonwealth Bank and wanted to verify a foreign transaction. I responded that I would check my accounts, but I found no such transaction, indicating this was likely a scam attempt to gain access to my financial information.
They just rang to tell me my commonwealth bank was being hacked. After playing with them for a little while I eventually told them I didn’t bank with commonwealth. “Click “ no bye bye or nothing.
