Called claiming from Telstra about misuse of my IP address and visiting questionable sites. When I asked how to verify he was an employee, he quoted an ID number: TL96785.

He wanted me to set myself up in front of a laptop but I said I was busy…

My internet provider is not Telstra;)

When I asked what company their 'department' was from, they said they were based in Melbourne even though its a QLD number. When I pressed them on which company they were from, they hung up. Scammer.
