Young English male caller from "follow up services" in relation to a traffic accident that I had recently- got my number through their accident database. Hung up when I said I was not in an accident SCAM.
Insurance scam number. I had missed several calls from this number. It looked like a local number to me, so I called back. The woman who answered had a bit of an English accent. She went on to tell me about an accident I'd been in recently She couldn't tell me when the accident was and when I asked her where she was calling from she said Perth. (the phone number has a Queensland area code) I went to ask her more questions and she hung up.
Over the past 2 Years I have received MANY of these type of calls, usually they are from a mobile number.
This number never gives up - I have received a missed call from this number everydau for the last week! I do not answer during my work hours and they never leave a message.
I suspect a SCAM!
