    I just had a call from this number. Recorded message voiced by computer. Saying there had been a search warrant issued against me and I had to return this call ASAP.

    ATO scammer, called and left an automated voice message telling me I’ll be arrested, very well known scam, if you pick up, do not listen to a word they say but feel free to waste their time.

    Scam robot caller with USA accent. Says he is from ATO and a warrant has been issued against you. He leaves a number and asks you to call. Do not call in any circumstances as they are after your bank details.

    Just ignore it.

    Scam call in a robot voice saying a lawsuit has been filed under your name and if you don't call back they will have to issue an arrest warrant under your name and 'get you arrested'.

    Got a call from this number saying they're from a taxation office and I supposedly have a lawsuit against my name. Was a digital voice so very questionable as to the legitimacy of this number.

    Called Left Voicemail saying if I do not return call they will issue arrest warrants but did not give name or who they are - was computer generated voice.

    Automated message saying a lawsuit is being held against me and to call back or an arrest warrant will be issued. Definitely a scam looking for info as they mentioned tax.

    Scam caller. Apparently from the ATO and if you don't call them back an arrest warrant will be issued. Ignore the call.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
