The caller stated that they were checking to ensure I was ready for an upcoming session related to “Dell.” However, I want to clarify that I am not enrolled in any Dell-related programs or sessions.
This number and a few others numbers with different last 3 digits always ring our work line and a recording from "Charter Mercantile Agency" saying someone has an AMEX debt with ref no xxx, and is asking their call to be returned, providing a 1300 number - this is a scam, as the phone they were ringing is not a personal phone, and no one at work has Amex!!! From other reviews I've read, if you ring back, the call center rep will ask for your personal details, please do not provide any, its a phishing attempt!
