What Our Users Reviewed
I am receiving multiple daily calls from several different numbers that all begin with 0489 918 XXX. Thankfully, my phone has a feature that marks these calls as spam, so I haven’t answered them. Despite blocking one number, I keep being called by another similar number the following day. Given my understanding that my mobile number may be involved in a data breach, I believe it is now on scammer lists. This situation is incredibly frustrating!
Received a phone call on a Sunday. No message left. Which to me cries out a scam. Looks like I was right. Blocked now.
I received a recorded message claiming to be from "Visa." The message reported a suspicious $1,000.00 withdrawal for cryptocurrency from my account and instructed me to press 1 to agree with the withdrawal or 2 to contest it. I neither pressed any buttons nor agreed to anything, and then the call ended.
This caller claimed to represent Ecogenica, offering heat pump services under the Victorian government rebate schemes. However, this practice is illegal, and I recommend reporting this to the Victorian government, specifically to Minister Lily D'Ambrosio.

Scam ring back robot talk.
More than likely a robo-scam. This number called my young daughters phone number. My daughter's number is assigned to a gps watch, not a phone and has not been shared with anyone other than myself. When I called back it went to a full electronic message bank.
