I received a call from an overseas number trying to sell what appeared to be fraudulent mortgage broker leads. This seems to be a scam.
I want to contribute to the reports about this number, as it's important to track the frequency of calls. I did not answer when they called me, and they did not leave a message. After researching the number, I confirmed it is associated with scamming activities.
The caller claimed to be from the Commonwealth Bank, informing me about a fraudulent charge on my account. This raised my suspicion of a potential scam.
BEWARE OF THIS CALLER AS IT'S A SCAM. Claimed to be from Commonwealth bank then proceeds to tell me that there was an international payment done from my account in the sum of $400 something dollars and for me to confirm to them that this is correct. Sounded like it was coming from a call centre in India.
Stay vigilant as these are very bad people!!! I told him to stop scamming people!!!
This was a scam call with a robotic voice claiming to be Amazon Prime and stating that $99 had successfully been charged to my account. They urged me to call back to cancel the payment, but I suspect they intend to ask for my banking details to commit fraud.

Number called claiming to be from Telstra, but like an idiot I believed them. The phone cut out and then called me back on another number (0488878920), which I didn't realise was different until after the call.
This lady had my current phone number and email address. I stupidly gave my secondary number. She then hurried off the call.
I have changed all things (I can think of) associated with those details. So far nothing has been suspicious, but only time will tell:-/
I received a call regarding a Solar Rebate offer. This feels particularly inappropriate given the recent devastation in Victoria, where many people are still without power or phone service.
