No message was left after the call, so I assumed it was a scam. I have since blocked the number.
I received a call from someone claiming that they were from a scam protection service, stating that a $500 transaction was about to be processed on my eBay account from California. They claimed my account had been hacked by multiple individuals on January 21st. They asked me to log in from my Apple mobile device using a special security code they would provide to stop the transaction. The joke is, I don't even own an Apple phone!
