Scam caller claimed a $700 payment had been made on my “visa or master card”
I hung up as the bank would identify themselves.
The caller informed me that there had been fraudulent activity on either my Visa or Mastercard. I questioned her about which card was affected, but she only continued her pitch. I told her to stop trying to scam people as there was a lot of background noise from other callers.
The caller identified themselves as part of the fraud department for Visa and Mastercard. I have doubts about the legitimacy of this call.
The voicemail I received included a phrase mentioning "Chinese service," followed by speech in Mandarin. I suggest ignoring it and blocking this number to avoid any further contact.
