I’m relieved I could check this number here. I had a gut feeling that it was a scammer.
This number continues to call me every day, sometimes even twice a day, which is becoming very bothersome.
This could be a marketing call or a scam. When I called back, the message I received stated that the "number is not in service," which raises further suspicion.
During the call, I overheard people talking in the background, but they were not addressing me directly. To entertain myself, I held the phone near my radio so they could hear it!

I received the same frustrating message again on December 7, 2024.
I received a call from a person with an Indian accent who claimed that I was overpaying for electricity and mentioned that a technician would come to read my meter on Monday. I found this suspicious and ended the call immediately.
Wanted to speak to the house owner - he did have the name - but did not say from where he called.
