Scam call, call centre in background.
They called and began by asking if I was the person they were trying to reach, but then abruptly hung up.
I received a call from a scam caller who appeared to be in a call center. It was very suspicious, so I decided to block this number.
When I answered this call, I could hear people typing on computers in the background, but there was no one on the line to speak to me. After a few seconds of silence, they just hung up.
The caller claimed to be from the electric company regarding an outstanding bill, but we are actually up to date with our power payments. This seems suspicious and likely a scam.
