Identifying 0485 975 931: A Closer Look
The phone number 0485 975 931 / 0485975931 has generated a flurry of user reports that categorise it as a scam telemarketer, primarily targeting individuals with unsolicited sales pitches. As concerns about telemarketing scams in Australia continue to rise, it’s vital to understand the nature of this particular call.
What Users Are Saying
Reports indicate a troubling pattern with this number. On 03/06/2024, one user experienced silence on the line, commonly referred to as ‘dead air,’ for an unsettling 11 seconds before the call abruptly ended. This type of behaviour suggests that the call may be an automated system designed to identify active phone numbers, which is a hallmark of many telemarketing scams.
Subsequent reports on 05/06/2024 and 06/06/2024 further put the legitimacy of this number into question. When the caller was unable to provide any proper information about the intended target on the line, combined with an aggressive pitch for solar panels, it became clear that the caller is likely working for a sales firm rather than engaging in a legitimate inquiry.
Classification: Scam Telemarketer

This number was trying to sell solar panels, and I suspect it belongs to Skytech Sales and Marketing. When I asked for their bank account details and password for verification, they refused and ultimately gave up.
