I received a call from a call center. They made an odd sound through the line and then suddenly hung up, which I found very strange.

Received call from this number 0485 972 017 with automated message coming from 'ANZ Bank' stating a thousand dollars was about to be booked against a credit card and did I authorise that payment, press 1. When you press 1, you get to speak with a gentleman with a possible accent from India(?). Hung up. Checked bank balance, no such transaction. I think this is a scammer.
