04 8593 4612 (0485934612): 45 community reports of unsolicited mortgage calls from NuPath operatives, silent calls, and personal information requests. Multiple scam warnings.

NuPath Mortgage Scam Reports for 04 8593 4612

Community reports for 04 8593 4612 (also written as 0485934612) reveal a persistent pattern of unsolicited mortgage-related calls, primarily attributed to NuPath operatives. With 45 total reports including 7 scam classifications and 15 spam reports, this number displays hallmarks of predatory lending outreach or data-harvesting schemes targeting homeowners.

Multiple contributors to Reverseau have identified callers specifically naming themselves as representatives from NuPath, a mortgage or property investment organisation. When challenged about how they obtained contact information, these callers became evasive or defensive. One contributor reported that after asking for the caller's ABN (Australian Business Number), the caller froze and hung up immediately, suggesting the business may not be legitimately registered or the caller was operating outside authorised channels.

What Callers from 04 8593 4612 Say and Do

Contributors describe a range of tactics employed by callers from 0485934612. Several reports indicate callers ask direct questions about home loans or mortgages without explaining how they obtained the recipient's number. When pressed for this information, callers become flustered, evasive, or refuse to answer. One contributor noted a caller "sounding like New Pass" (possibly mispronouncing or disguising the organisation name) asked about the recipient's mortgage after they had explicitly requested removal from contact lists.

The caller behaviour from 04 8593 4612 varies in sophistication. Some callers use names like "Lynn" and "Elizabeth" and speak with accents described as "posh English." Others ask for outdated names or wrong numbers, potentially testing whether the line is active. A voicemail left by someone claiming to be Elizabeth from "New Path" used a casual greeting ("asking how I was") to establish false rapport before pivoting to financial questions.

Silent call tactics are prominent: multiple contributors report receiving calls where, after greeting the caller twice, they heard dead air before disconnection. Three back-to-back calls in quick succession suggest potential auto-dialling or sequential calling patterns.

Report Patterns and Timing

Community reports for 0485934612 span from February 2025 through late 2025, with clusters during business hours. Morning calls (07:46 to 09:23) and late morning (08:48 to 11:28) dominate the dataset, consistent with deliberate calling campaigns rather than random activity. One contributor experienced three consecutive calls within a short timeframe, indicating aggressive persistence.

The mix of answered calls (where contributors engaged or hung up), missed calls, and voicemails suggests the operation cycles through large contact lists methodically. The silent call pattern (dead air after connection) appears in multiple reports and may indicate either robocall systems detecting answer or deliberate screening by operatives deciding whether to engage based on voice cues.

Caller: NuPath.

NuPath at Varsity Lakes, Queensland Part of Gold Coast (Scammer Haven). Female on phone claimed to have my details from a 'lifestyle survey'. All nonsense. They get our information that is on sold by 3rd and 4th parties. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION and asked to be taken off their database. I have lodged their details with ACMA, ACCC & ASIO. If they persist on calling, ask them the source of their database. Their way of introducing themselves to clients is unprofessional.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is calling from 04 8593 4612?

Multiple community reports identify callers claiming to represent NuPath, a mortgage or property investment organisation. However, when asked for legitimate business details (ABN, physical address), callers from 0485934612 become evasive or disconnect. This suggests either an unauthorised operation or scammers impersonating a real business. The number is registered to Pivotel Satellite Pty Limited, a satellite communications provider, which is unrelated to mortgage services.

Why is 0485934612 asking about my mortgage?

Callers from 04 8593 4612 appear to be harvesting mortgage information, likely to identify targets for predatory refinancing schemes, investment property scams, or to sell leads to other scam operations. Contributors report that callers claim someone referred them or that the person gave permission to contact, despite having no such interaction. This is a common data-harvesting tactic used before transition to financial exploitation.

What should I do if 04 8593 4612 calls and asks for home loan information?

Hang up immediately. Do not confirm whether you have a mortgage, property details, or any financial information. If 0485934612 calls again after you've requested removal, document the date and time, then report to the Do Not Call Register at donotcall.gov.au. Legitimate lenders do not cold-call unknown numbers asking unsolicited questions about mortgages.

Why am I getting silent calls from 04 8593 4612?

Several contributors report dead air or immediate disconnection after answering calls from 0485934612, sometimes after greeting twice. This pattern suggests either automated robocall systems testing line validity before playing a recorded message, or operatives screening calls based on voice detection. Silent calls are often used to build lists of confirmed active numbers for follow-up scam attempts. Block the number if this occurs.

Is 0485934612 a legitimate business number?

The number 04 8593 4612 is allocated to Pivotel Satellite Pty Limited, a satellite communications provider, not a mortgage or property investment business. NuPath operatives claiming to call from this number appear to be either spoofing the number or operating unauthorised campaigns. Legitimate mortgage brokers and lenders have dedicated business numbers and comply with Do Not Call Register requests. The evasiveness of callers from 0485934612 when asked for ABN or business details is a red flag.

Should I report 04 8593 4612 to authorities?

Yes. Report to ACMA at acma.gov.au for unwanted calls, and to Scamwatch at scamwatch.gov.au if you believe the caller attempted fraud. If you provided any personal or financial information to 0485934612, also report to ReportCyber at cyber.gov.au as a potential data breach. Lodge a Do Not Call complaint at donotcall.gov.au if the call was telemarketing. Sharing your report on Reverseau helps other Australians recognise this number and protect themselves.
