Flagged as a suspicious/spam call on my phone, so I let it go to voicemail. Woman with accent (maybe Indonesian?) left a voicemail message using my first name / also my "preferred name". She repeated my name several times asking if I was there. Then hung up.
This call was flagged as spam, so I let it go to voicemail. An Asian woman with an accent repeatedly asked for me by my first name before hanging up without leaving any further information.
I received a call from an Asian woman asking for someone named John. Since I am not John and am actually a woman, I informed her of the mistake. She quickly apologized and indicated it was a wrong number.
This number called my work phone, which I find concerning since they somehow had access to my first name and direct work number. The caller was discussing 'tax breaks' and when I refused to engage further, they hung up on me.
Scammer - knew my first name, were saying something about tax rebate. Tried to fish for more information - owning a property etc. When confronted, dropped the call. I actually called her back five times, each time she used a different name when picking up the phone lol:) Anyway, the little extra info I managed ro get from her is that they've got my number and name from some "Australian Data Centre", whatever that is.
Scam. Knew my first and last name. Said they got it from Australia Data Services. Something about cash back for homeowners etc. They hung up immediately when I queried it.
This caller identified themselves as Daisy, speaking with an Indonesian accent, and was attempting to deceive me into providing personal information or money. I believe this is a scam.
I answered the call. Asian lady asked for someone with my first name but different surname. I said that wasn’t me and she promptly hung up.
Possible scam. Called me but left no voice mail. When I called back, automated reply said "you call is very important, wait for available agent" and put me on hold. Did not mention business name. I hung up.
