I’m on the job hunt process and had 3 missed calls from this number, so thought it may be a job prospect.
Called me just now (5:25 PM on a Friday). When I was about to answer, the call cut off.
I called back and the guy with a difficult to work out accent claimed to be from Star Finance and was “calling back regarding refinancing my mortgage”
I said I have never asked for a call back from anyone related to Star Finance.
He argued that I did, and I pointed out that I actually own my home outright.
He had the audacity to then ask me if I was wanting to sell me home and he could assist me with financing needs.
Told him that (again) I was not interested.
He continued to go on to ask if I needed financial assistance for anything else.
By this stage I was bored, hung up and blocked number.
Called himself Star finance.
Made the mistake of answering this call.
