What Our Users Reviewed
I keep getting robocalls from a wine company that's at it again, operating under the name Oak Rd Estate. They've already been fined $200,000 by ACMA for making unwanted calls. I've reported them to ACMA again for violating "Do Not Call" rules. This company should be shut down, and its owners deserve the worst.
I received a recorded phone call featuring an Australian male voice. It addressed me by name and attempted to sign me up for special wine deals, requesting my home address, email, and credit card information. They claimed to know my wine preferences. When I responded mockingly, the call abruptly ended. This is undoubtedly a scam attempt.
I’ve had exactly the same experience. An Australian-sounding voice calls my name over the answering machine and then quickly hangs up.7 similar numbers have done this over the past 2 weeks.
I have noticed that the last three digits of the phone number change each time I receive a call from them. When I let my answering machine pick up, a male voice calls out my first name before immediately hanging up. This has been happening consistently for several weeks.
This number sent me a call that went straight to voicemail without leaving any message, which makes me suspect they are scammers. I've been receiving similar calls from the number ranges 0485 825 and 0485 826, all of which are equally bothersome.
Called my mobile but I didn’t answer and they didn’t leave any message. I’ve now received 3 calls from very similar mobile numbers over the last couple of days (only the last 2 digits differ 732.741 & 752) so I’ve now blocked the lot!
