    "Levitate". Voice was Australian. "This is an information service, we're not trying to sell you anything." Call dropped after that.

    "We're an information service, we're not trying to sell anything." Australian voice. Call cut out after that. Possibly due to already being flagged as spam by my provider.

    Says they're from Levitate which is now out of business. It's a scam. They want your superannuation info so they can steal it. "Steve" sounds more like an unemployable jailbird meth head than a financial planner. These scammers should check the Do Not Call Register, if you're on it and they call then straight away you know it's not a legit company.

    Some chick claiming to be from "Levitate", so "Steve From Levitate" has a partner in crime now. This is a criminal scam, Levitate was delisted by ASIC almost a year ago but was a former financial services company, which is why they're falsely using their name. They're trying to get your superannuation. HANG UP and do not talk to them. Hopefully they'll go to prison soon.

    They're using a bigger variety of fake numbers now.

    Asking if you want a superannuation check up. I told them no and they seemed to be ok with that but I received another call from this number (different to original)

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
