This number called my mother's home phone, pretending to offer her a $1,000 refund. They hung up before I could answer, which is quite suspicious.
I could hear multiple voices in the background, similar to a call center environment. A woman with an accent claimed to be from Telstra stating there was an issue with our service. She instructed me to change my phone settings from public to private and to open my Google browser to verify my identity. I declined and hung up as it sounded suspicious.
Caller hung up when answering machine operated. I do not recognise number as either a friend or relative. Please beware if this pest contacts.
