I answered the call from a strange looking mobile number knowing it was going to be a scam call. Sure enough it was a scammer pretending to be from Telstra and he said there was a problem with my internet.

My internet is working perfectly and the provider isn't Telstra, so I told him to F&%$ off you scammer C*^% and hung up. I am getting real sick of these people ringing and trying to scam. My phone number is also on the "Do not call" list so perhaps if we all start using this type of language back to them they might stop ringing us, but I doubt it.0483 917 691 is now another blocked number on my phone.

Received a call from 0483917691 today 14/7/2023. Indian male advising me, my internet provider has received notifications of disruptions to my service. Advised him that I'm not the account holder (my hubby is but I didn't tell him this) and he responded that he needed to know the account holders name and contact number or the internet in the home will be disconnected in 3 days. When I asked how he got my number and why he couldn't get the account holders number himself, he kept asked me for the contact details of the account holder or he will be forced to disconnect it today. When I said I'm not comfortable giving out someone else's number, he said he will call me later today and I can give my phone to the account holder so he can speak with them directly. Very insistent and even threatened to disconnect the internet if I hung up. ***BTW called Telstra, internet not getting disconnected and they have logged complaint on their system as SPAM***

Scam caller. Been getting it from a few from similar numbers (0483 919 215 and 0483 907 326) saying someone was making an online purchase and press 1 to report it or 2 to accept it.

Male Indian caller would not identify who he was or who he represented. Start some spiel about being "sorry for my latest bill increases". I stopped him there and hung up. Two calls in two days. This is some sort of feeble scammer.
