I was scammed out of $1500 by this person, and I want to know how they are still able to operate. We need to take action to stop them!

After posting a wanted ad on Gumtree, I received an almost immediate text from this number. The sender claimed to have the item I wanted and required a deposit before sending it to me. This person is a scammer.

This is clearly a scam, especially considering that the outboard motor is worth over $7,000!

Someone called trying to sell me a boat engine and insisted on cash upfront. I refused and told them to leave me alone. They are using the name Michael Elijah Harris.

The caller identified himself as Harry and was responding to my vehicle wanted ad on Gumtree. His offers seemed too good to be true, making him a very suspicious character in my opinion.

I believe this caller is a scammer using Gumtree. They claimed to be a 37-year-old suffering from cancer and said they had a truck traveling in our area. I recognized it as a scam immediately due to the suspicious nature of the call.

This individual reached out to me claiming to sell a car part on Gumtree. He provided a sad story about needing to sell his house to move into a retirement home. He also stated he would cover the shipping costs. He provided an address, which he claimed was 4 Crane St, Ballina, NSW. Notably, he initially contacted me from a different number, specifically 0484 658 212.

This caller shared the same story as countless others; they almost deceived me into something suspicious.

My 17-year-old son was scammed by this person last night, resulting in him losing his first paycheck from his new job. I am very upset about this situation.

I reported a clear scam related to a Gumtree transaction. This scammer has multiple numbers including 0405 205 254 and goes by names such as Cody Beeston, Peter Johnson, and Tahlia McKinley. They seem to be operating from the Greater Sydney region and are using Commonwealth Bank accounts with the following details: BSB: 062834, Account number: 10195560, Account name: Tahlia McKinley and BSB: 064496, Account number: 13370960, Account name: Peter Johnson.

This is a fraudulent caller who is attempting to scam individuals by requesting deposits for car purchases. Please be cautious and do not share any personal information or make any payments.
