    Called to say she was my neighbour and wanted to talk to me about something that’s been making her feel uncomfortable. Said that I had been watching her get out of the shower from behind my curtains. Wanted to know if I liked what I saw. Clearly a pre recorded message.

    Got a voicemail from this number saying she was a neighbour of mine who could smell pot coming from my unit in the stairwell.

    Funny I don’t live In A unit!!

    Anyway she went on to say well it doesn’t smell like lavender and that I can do what I want inside my unit but do it by a window.

    Then paused and said you know all the neighbours are going to be buying bread a bit high don't you think and went into a fit of laughter.

    This was a recorded message with pauses for answers!

    BLOCK THIS NUMBER ASAP!!

    I just got exactly the same thing. Woman said she was a neighbour who didn't want to be identified. And that our dog barked all night, keeping her and kids up all night. Said they had a signatures from other neighbours and wanting to deliver them to my house. Then started barking like a dog, laughed and hung up.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
