WRITE A REVIEWFrequently Asked Questions
What happens if I answer a call from 0480 852 030?
Contributors report two outcomes when answering 0480 852 030: either silence followed by the caller hanging up, or connection to a robocall about travel and accommodation offers. In both cases, hanging up immediately is recommended. Do not press any numbers or respond to automated prompts, as this confirms your number is active to the calling system.
Why does 0480852030 keep calling without leaving a message?
All six reports about 0480852030 indicate no voicemail messages are left. Silent calls hang up too quickly, and robocalls from automated systems typically don't leave messages. The repeated calling without messages is a characteristic pattern of nuisance and spam operations that use automated dialling systems to contact large numbers of people.
Should I return a call to 0480 852 030?
No. Contributors who received calls from 0480 852 030 should not return the call. Silent calls won't connect to anyone, and robocalls don't have a person standing by to answer callbacks. Returning the call confirms your number is active, which may lead to more calls from 0480852030 and similar numbers.
Can I block 0480 852 030 on my phone?
Yes. Multiple contributors reported blocking 0480852030 after experiencing repeated calls. Most modern phones allow you to block numbers directly from your call history. Is 0480852030 a scam number?
The robocall reports about 0480852030 mention travel and accommodation offers, which are common spam topics. While not all are scams, unsolicited robocalls about travel deals are typically unwanted marketing. The silent calls from 0480 852 030 are nuisance calls used to identify active numbers for further spam targeting. Neither warrants engagement.
What should I do if I keep getting calls from 0480 852 030?
First, block 0480852030 on your phone. Then report the repeated calls to your phone provider, as they can investigate patterns of automated calling. You can also report to ACMA at acma.gov.au and register with the Do Not Call Register at donotcall.gov.au. If the pattern continues from different numbers, this indicates an organised robocall campaign.
