0480 809 079 - 0480809079: Scam Alert for Unsecured Loans

Look, this dodgy number just called me, and it’s got Scam written all over it! Coincides with an email from Geek Squad about some subscription I never signed up for. People need to wake up and block these crooks. Check out Scammer Payback on YouTube; they’re actually doing something to expose these lowlife thieves stealing from good folks!

Got a warning from my iPhone about this number, so I didn’t bother picking up. I checked on here and seems like everyone's got the same story about them being dodgy. Better to be safe than sorry!

Close to 7;30 pm on a Friday night.

I just received a call from some indian chick who was hard to understand but was banging on about being from some loan company.

I know I should hang up, but I like to mess with them as I have too much time on my hands - and in turn, the longer I have them on the line, the lesser time they have to annoy other people with their scam / spam / fraud / telemarketing tactics.

The guise of this call was to offer me an unsecured loan. I was encouraged to take up her offer and could request a loan of any amount.

I said “oh this is great… I can request any amount and it’s unsecured?”

She said “yes ma’am, this is correct”

So I said “ok let’s do it. I’ve been in the dole for 2 years now, so I won’t be greedy, and will just ask you for $500,000 for now. I honestly don’t know how I can repay it as I only get $789.10 a fortnight and I basically eat food scraps out of my neighbours garbage bins, but if it’s unsecured, that shouldn’t be an issue right?”

She appeared to be baffled and said “yes ma’am we have unsecured loans, I think you should be ok, but just let me put you on hold for one minute”

I just hung up and blocked.

7:10 PM FRIDAY NIGHT SCAM CALLER.

Female with extremely poor English skills. Sounded indian. Said she had a good deal for a loan and I was eligible. Told her I wasn’t interested. She said but I haven’t told you about it. It’s an unsecured loan. I said “I don’t care what sort of loan it is, I’m not interested”

She then continued with her script and asked what my current source of income was. I said “for the second time, I’m not interested”

She sounded desperate and said “we can offer you a small loan so you have some extra money on hand”

I said “listen, I’m struggling to understand you - and I daresay YOU are struggling to understand me. I’m going to speak slowly so you can kind of grasp what I am saying…. I. AM. NOT. INTERESTED”

I hung up and blocked.

Just received a call at 7:00 PM on a Friday … extremely noisy call centre background.

Indian female introduced herself as “Kelly from Ezi Loan”

I said “who is this?”

She said “Kelly that’s K-Y-L-I-E from E-Z-I Loan”

I simply said “not interested”

She said “but you haven’t listened to me. I have a very good deal on a non secured loan which you are eligible for”

I said “I don’t need a loan, I’m comfortable”

She got aggressive and said “yes you do, now all I need is your current income”

I told her where she could shove her buckets fulls of money, hung up on her and blocked number.

As an aside, I have had multiple calls from this number in the past few days alone which have all resulted in the caller hanging up on me when I’ve answered.

Received a call that raised a bit of a red flag because of its dodgy calling patterns. I let it ring through to voicemail, and surprise, surprise — no message left. Quite suspicious, I reckon!

Got a scam call from this number on a Saturday arvo – total hassle!

Ugh, just received another one of those pesky unsolicited calls from Easy Loans. Can't these folks take a hint already?

Listen up! This bloke with an Indian accent rings me, and when I ask who he is, he dodges the question! Claims he's got a sweet deal on an unsecured loan. If this number comes up on your phone, don’t waste your time - just block it!

These clowns are just out to fleece you with their dodgy curry. Don’t fall for it, mate!

Got a call from this number, and they hung up faster than me dodging my mate's bad jokes! What’s up with that?

This number is a total scam! Didn’t leave a voicemail either—just a heads up, tread carefully!

Got a weird call from an Indian woman who asked how I was, to which I just said 'no' and she promptly hung up. Talk about rude!

This call reeked of spam, so I just let it go to voicemail. No thank you!

Got a call from some person with an Indian accent pushing loans on me. As soon as I declined, they straight up hung up on me. Classic scam tactics, mate.

My Phone already had it marked as 'Potential Fraud', but I like answering these to frustrate the Hell out of these clowns, and steal their time away from 'Potential Victims'.

Unfortunately, they must have my number marked as 'Fake Old Guy with hearing and English speaking issues, who suddenly becomes a Woman with a weak bladder', so they hang up straight away.

So, this dodgy number's been tagged as 'Potential Fraud' on my phone. Honestly, I love wasting their time! If you’re gonna call me, don’t you dare leave a peep! But, it looks like these muppets must think I’m some ancient bloke who's suddenly morphed into a woman with a weak bladder – they hang up way too quick! Keep trying, clowns! 🖐️

Oh great, another call from “Pajeet”, trying to sell me a loan. Just what I needed today.

Gave me a ring at bloody lunchtime on a Saturday! This fella had a thick Indian accent, calling from what sounded like a chaotic garage. I don’t own a car, yet here he is prattling on about a car loan? Hung up and blocked him straight away!

Number called, message left.

So, I get this call from a woman with an Indian accent in a noisy call center claiming to offer me a sweet loan deal - whatever that was. I told her ‘no thanks, scammer’ and she had the cheek to keep blabbing! It was a laugh, but definitely dodgy. Beware, people!

I received another annoying call from this number and decided to block it due to the repeated nuisance.

I believe this number is associated with a scam. I advise against answering their calls, as they might be trying to verify if the line is active in order to sell your number to other scammers.

The call didn't ring for long and no message was left. I'm not going to return the call, as I believe that if it was important, they would have left a message.

Unsolicited call and no message left. The numbers 0480 809 xxx are a set of numbers this nuisance caller company uses - be computer generated so no chance of effectively blocking them.

I received a silent call from an unknown number, which is suspicious.
