Mate, the prick did the same to me over a car part. I’ve reported him and his BSB number to my bank but no news yet from my bank. Good luck to you. Alan W Mandurah WA.
I have his bank details also. Turns out the account is held in Adelaide. Claims to be in Bulli NSW.
Had a wanted ad on Gumtree for some car parts. This person replied via sms with photos and sent me a photo of "his" MDL. Deal was made, he gave me back details and money was sent.1 week passed and no parts had arrived. Rang Pack n send in Woolongong and they knew nothing about it. Rang Pack n send in Willeton, again they knew nothing about it. Contacted Pack n send head office and organized a trace, nothing was found. I have his bank details and the BSB is from Adelaide. Police report with investigation and bank funds recovery have been also filed. Beware, beware, beware!
Yep, scammed me also. Had a wanted ad for car parts. Sent through some photos. All seemed legit and gave me his bank details. Also, sent a photo of a NSW drivers licence. Then said he sent via pack n send and they have no record of it. This is really pathetic that people do this. I have lodged a charge back with my bank who is seeking to recover the funds. If anyone else has had similar experience, please reply to my message.
This number successfully scammed me and then blocked my access to further communication. I do have their bank details, though, which may be helpful if I decide to report them.
