I received a call from some muppet saying he was from Telstra, trying to trick me into giving him a verification code for a supposed $50 discount. Knew it was dodgy when he had my email too. Told him to send it through the app and give me their ABN, but he hung up quicker than a rat up a drainpipe!
Got a call asking me to read out a verification code they 'just sent'… saying it was to give me $50 off my Telstra Bill! But hold on, they were actually fishing for my email account! Absolute joke!
