I received a text message containing a suspicious link: "I saw a video with your profile on https://lalitinggar.dea.id/b/pa/?7d72nkiteujn."

Received an SMS from this number with a message that they had sent an EE photo/video - this was at Christmas when ecards are circulating from family and friends. A hyperlink followed to a web address, the last part of which were a random series of letters and numbers. I always check unkown numbers via an internet search. I also check ACMA and Scamwatch. This particular message is circulating along with parcel delivery messages, of which I have been getting my fair share as well. The messages all contain hyperlinks which should not be used, as both ACMA and Scamwatch report that the receivers phone can be infected with malware. Check out their information regarding "Missed delivery, call or voicemail (Flubot) scams".
