This same caller 'a lady called Michelle called from this number today. I did not answer as unknown contact and the lady left voice message claimed to be from the Commonwealth bank Karingal. Message said this is a non urgent call from Michelle comm bank Karingal, it is important that I speak with you and left this number to call back. As bank will never call from a mobile marked as spam.

Same thing just happened to me but I didn't answer so they left a message saying their name is Michelle from Commbank Karingal and wanted me to call them back.

A lady calling from this number claimed to be from the Commonwealth bank Karingal and asked for my name, address and phone number to verify my identity before continuing. I told her no thanks I can’t see a reason for your call. She very hastily backed off saying she just wanted to check if things were ok then wished me a good day and hung up.
