I was contacted today by someone named Kelly Micheal Redinski regarding a truck I am selling. His message was alarmingly similar to what another user, Liz Braid, received. People should take note that he appears to work alongside another individual named Tibor Mokany. Notably, both names belong to deceased individuals from the past three years who had public profiles on Facebook. I have filed police reports on both names.
Today, I received a message identical to those mentioned before regarding a potential sale over Gumtree. My experience has been negative, as I've encountered five scammers and no genuine buyers on the site.
I received an email that is identical to many others complaining about the same situation. It was from someone on Gumtree who claimed to need my bank details to make a payment. They mentioned that a courier was ready to pick up a caravan once the payment was confirmed. I suspect this is a scam, and they did not fool me.
Fraud, man called Kelly Michael Ridneski uses 0448 253 529 or 0477 685 326 to scam people. Targets people who are selling things on Gumtree. They have several profiles on Gumtree, all aimed at scamming. May possibly be someone who works at Gumtree. If you know any other numbers they use, please post that here so we can all block them. They use many usernames on Gumtree. They send links to a phishing website. They try to get your personal details. Do not send them anything. Do not communicate with them. Block them.
I received a text message from this number stating that a person named Geoffrey was interested in buying my car, claiming to be from Gumtree. However, after some research, I found posts indicating that he is a known scammer.
I've encountered this caller's pitch word-for-word exactly five different times, with only minor variations. I believe these are scammers, and I would appreciate someone capturing a photo of them for identification.
I am still being contacted by this individual. I received a text this morning asking me to email him my latest pricing, insisting on email communication only. Shortly after, I got an identical email. Highly suspicious behavior!

Received a call from someone posing as a buyer claiming to be a single father wanting to purchase a car as a birthday gift for his son. He claimed he was overseas and could only use PayPal for payment. He tried to convince me that if I paid for the transport, PayPal would release the funds to him. This story sounded suspiciously like others I’ve seen reported on this website. I encourage others to look up numbers before agreeing to any deals to avoid falling victim to such scams.
