Received text advising job offer from HOBAN but I haven’t applied for that job. I think SEEK may have a compromised server as I applied for a similar job via SEEK two days ago.
Seems to be a scam, trying to exploit the unemployed looking for work. Very disappointing.
I just got a text message for mobile 0439 492 960 this morning for a casual job placement locally at Vicroads offered through HOBAN, paying $32 + super please reply YES if available. L assumed it was legit as l'd applied for another job on SEEK for Vicroads a few weeks ago. It seems legit as it states what town there is a Vicroads near me. Very disappointing people go to these lengths to steal other peoples credentials. L only hope HOBAN has not had our details compromised by a third party! Once going to HOBAN website to register for this job, that VicRoads job is not showing up only another civil job! SCAM.
