    Health spottee has a website that has a link 'remove my number'. Disgusting behaviour as on Do Not Call register. Wonder who or what gave the cretins my number. Never leave a message or answer when I say hello hello hello, picking up by mistake when expecting a phone call from unknown number!

    My phone said it was touchpoint customer contact solutions. They don't leave a voice message. This is the 5th phone number they have used over the last month to contact me. I block each one but then they call on a new number!!!! Very annoying!!!!

    Trying to get people to sign up for health insurance. Claim people have been permitted to opt-in to telemarketing. The guy was wrong about my age (by a decade) and wrong about the state I live in (by a good 1500km) - at least he got my gender right.

    Politely asked to be removed from the marketing register for this company and said I did not wish to discuss my private health cover for privacy reasons. I got abused and called rude by the telemarketer!

    Cold call from 'Health Spotter' telemarketers who then just transfer you to another company for a health fund comparison.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
