    I don't answer calls from unknown numbers. While this number was calling my mobile I entered the ph # 0433 470 591 online and there's enough evidence proving it's a scam call. I've now blocked this number.

    Having noticed a missed call by this number 0433 470 591 I rang them back only to hear some odd numbers being said and that the mail box if full. I then proceeded by sending a message to the number, saying if it’s imperative that you must speak to me, by all means call me back otherwise don’t waste my precious time.. I’m doubting I’ll get a call back but should they do I’ve muted their number.

    Didn’t leave a message, suspected spam. I called back and it went straight to a generic message bank.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
