A caller claimed to be from Windows Security and stated that my computer had been hacked. I hung up on the call, but they called me back asking why I disconnected. After ignoring them, they called again, and I could clearly hear the call center noise. I told them to stop bothering me, but they persisted. After finally telling them to go away in more explicit terms, they stopped calling.

An Indian woman called me claiming to be from Windows support. I hung up, but she called back immediately, and when I called her a scammer, she insulted me by calling me illiterate and ignorant. I ended the call after telling her to stop calling me.

A caller identifying herself as being from Windows Security said my computer had been hacked. When I mentioned I would contact Windows Security myself, she insisted that there was no such thing. After I hung up, she called back claiming she was locking my computer and accusing me of allowing hackers to use my identity in fraudulent activities. I immediately hung up again.

The caller claimed that my laptop was malfunctioning, but I ended the call. However, they called me back and verbally attacked me for hanging up. It was an extremely unprofessional interaction.

I received a call from someone claiming that my computer had been hacked and instructed me to sit in front of my computer. I pretended to cooperate and made up random keys when they asked which key was next to the ctrl key. Eventually, they became frustrated, called me an idiot, and hung up. The frequency of such scam calls is really becoming overwhelming.

The caller was attempting to convince me that I needed to turn on my computer because they claimed I had been hacked. They were very persistent, even after I expressed my belief that they were scammers. I strongly advise avoiding and reporting this number.

Rung once on wife's phone, she did reconized.

Rang again and I answered, tried telling me I had a computer and he was from Windows, wouldn't accept I didn't have a computer. Was quiet forceful. So I hung up. They tried ringing again but cancelled the call and be blocking.

Definite scammer and forceful to boot.

**UPDATE** I attempted to call this number back and received a message stating that "this number is not accepting calls at this moment." My phone also flagged it as a 'suspected scam.' At least they are not using someone else's number, which is a small relief.

Caller rang landline 5 times in a row until I answered. Said he was from Windows Salvage and that they had received error messages that tell them my computer is being hacked. I played along until he called me a liar and a stupid criminal lady. I told him to get lost and hung up. He rang another 5 times which I did not answer, so my husband answered and told him to get lost and hung up. He then rang my husband's mobile phone and kept telling him that we have to deal with him to clear the problem with the computer. Husband told him to get lost again. He has rung at least 6 times again. Very high pressure scammer.
