Someone just used this phone number to call me, and his accent was the most difficult one to make clear since I came to Australia. He asked something about “What’s your fault”, “what’s your accident”. It could be an harassment.
This number has been disconnected by Optus but somehow they have hijacked the number for scam calls. They hang up when you answer and when you call back you get the disconnected number message. IT IS ABOUT TIME OUR GOVERNMENT DID SOMETHING SERIOUS ABOUT THESE SCAM CALLS. THE PENALTIES SHOULD BE SHOCKINGLY SEVERE AND IT SHOULD BE AN ELECTION ISSUE.
