Nuisance Call Reports for 0427 370 922
A contributor has reported receiving a nuisance call from 0427 370 922 (also written as 0427370922). The caller disconnected the call within seconds of the recipient answering, suggesting either a hang-up scam, accidental dial, or automated system testing the line.
The number is allocated as a Telstra mobile service. This type of behaviour - immediate disconnection upon answer - can indicate several possibilities: a robocall system checking for active numbers, a callback scam probe, or simply a misdial. However, based on the single report received, there is insufficient data to determine a pattern.
What to Do If You Receive a Call from 0427 370 922
If 0427370922 calls you:
- Do not: Return the call immediately, as this may confirm your number is active to potential spam operators
- Do: Let unknown calls go to voicemail and check if a legitimate voicemail was left
- Do: Block the number if calls repeat or escalate to longer interactions
- Do: Be cautious if you later receive follow-up calls from similar numbers with aggressive intent
Hang-up calls can be a preliminary step in callback scams, where callers test numbers and ring back later with fraudulent offers or impersonation tactics. If 0427 370 922 calls again with sustained contact or suspicious requests, treat it with heightened caution.

What does it mean if a caller from 0427 370 922 hangs up immediately?
The immediate hang-up reported for 0427 370 922 (0427370922) could indicate several things: an accidental misdial, a robocall system testing if your number is active, or a callback scam probe. One contributor reported this exact behaviour. If 0427 370 922 calls repeatedly with escalating contact attempts, it becomes more concerning and should be blocked.
Should I call back if 0427 370 922 rings me?
No. Do not call back 0427370922 or 0427 370 922 immediately. Returning the call confirms to potential spam operators that your number is active and monitored. If it was a legitimate contact, they will leave a voicemail or try again. If the number calls multiple times with hang-ups, block it.
Is 0427 370 922 a scam or spam number?
Based on the single community report, 0427 370 922 (0427370922) is flagged as a nuisance call with no confirmed scam or spam activity. The hang-up behaviour could be innocent or part of a testing phase. However, if you experience repeated calls with escalating tactics (requests for money, personal information, or threats), report it to Scamwatch immediately.
Why does 0427370922 hang up when I answer?
One contributor reported that 0427370922 (0427 370 922) disconnected seconds after they answered. This behaviour is typical of automated dialling systems, accidental calls, or callback scam operators confirming the number is active. Without additional reports, the exact intent cannot be determined, but repeated hang-ups warrant blocking the number.
What provider is 0427 370 922 registered to?
0427 370 922 (0427370922) is allocated as a Telstra mobile number. This does not guarantee legitimacy - scammers frequently use standard mobile numbers or spoofed caller IDs. How do I report 0427 370 922 to authorities?
You can report 0427 370 922 (0427370922) to ACMA at acma.gov.au for unwanted calls. If the number shows scam characteristics beyond hang-ups, report to Scamwatch at scamwatch.gov.au.
