Understanding Robocall Risks
Robocalls using recorded messages in foreign languages present an additional challenge because contributors may struggle to understand the purpose of the call. Some robocall campaigns use language barriers intentionally to avoid customer service complaints. The mention of 'student' in the 0426 305 509 recording could indicate targeting of students or educational records, though without hearing the full message it's difficult to confirm the scam type. Never assume a call is legitimate based on the mention of a common word - this is a common tactic in mass robocall campaigns.
