WRITE A REVIEWFrequently Asked Questions
Why do callers from 0425 347 743 ask for $99 upfront for a lodge discount?
Multiple contributors reported that 0425347743 callers claimed to offer discounts at Harrington River Lodge but demanded $99 upfront before providing any details. This is a classic scam tactic - once payment is made, the discount either doesn't materialise, the lodge doesn't honour it, or the victim receives nothing. Legitimate businesses never charge upfront fees for existing discounts.
Is 0425 347 743 a real holiday company?
No. While 0425347743 callers mention real-sounding business names like Ocean Road Holidays and Harrington River Lodge, contributors who blocked this number reported the calls felt dubious and the offers incoherent. One caller couldn't even explain the holiday bonus being offered. Verify any genuine booking or discount directly with the accommodation provider using their official website phone number, not by calling back 0425 347 743.
What should I do if 0425 347 743 keeps calling me every few months?
One contributor reported receiving calls from 0425347743 every three months with no voicemail left. This pattern suggests automated prospecting. Block the number immediately and report it to ACMA (acma.gov.au). If calls continue after blocking, contact your Vodafone provider to request additional filtering, as this mobile number from Vodafone appears to be on a persistent calling list.
How can I verify if a Harrington River Lodge discount is legitimate?
If you're interested in staying at Harrington River Lodge, contact the accommodation directly using the phone number and website on their official booking site - do not use 0425 347 743. Ask the lodge directly if they're running a $99 discount offer. If they're unaware of the promotion, the call from 0425347743 was definitely a scam. Legitimate businesses advertise real discounts through their own channels, not unsolicited cold calls.
What's the 'too-good-to-be-true' tactic used by 0425 347 743?
Contributors identified that 0425347743 callers used vague, exaggerated claims (holiday bonus, massive discounts) without clear explanation - exactly what makes offers sound too good to be true. The scammer relies on the victim's excitement about a bargain overriding their critical thinking. Real offers include transparent terms, no upfront costs, and verifiable details you can check before committing.
Should I report 0425 347 743 even if I didn't lose money?
Yes. Reporting 0425347743 to Scamwatch (scamwatch.gov.au) or ACMA (acma.gov.au) helps protect other Australians from the same number. Contributors who blocked 0425 347 743 without paying prevented potential losses, but their reports are still valuable evidence of a coordinated scam operation. Every report strengthens the case for action against this mobile number.
