(Scammed from number 0413 820 153 which is the same person).
I unfortunately was scammed by this person.
Wish I had found this before I transferred money :(.
They said their name was Emily Lynch and provided me with a drivers licence and photo (who I've since discovered has also been scammed by this person and is having her identity used illegally).
The bank details they gave me were:
Name: Emily Lynch.
BSB: 062-948.
Acct: 1315 3342.
They first asked me if I had an acct with Commonwealth or Westpac which I don't but they then proceeded to ask if I had a friend who could do it for me (which I do).
I just figured that they wanted the money ASAP so I was happy to do that.
I then asked for the tickets and they refused to give it to me because they didn't trust the payment would go through so they said they'd send it at 10pm. This seemed dodgy so at that point I did ring CBA and they said they couldn't cancel the payment because it was CBA to CBA but that I could pay a fee of $25 to have the bank send letters to this person demanding they refund the money.
Bit ridiculous really...
So obviously 10pm came around last night and I received nothing and this person has either blocked my number or switched off their phone.
I feel really stupid for getting scammed by this person but hope that enough complaints to the bank and police will help catch this person so they can't do this to anyone else!
Guys you need to post your contact details! I was scammed also by this number +61 413 820 153 and provided my drivers license photo! Big mistake! I have logged a police report about this and have connected with 3 other people who have been scammed by this guy so that we can gather as much information as possible. If you want to be included to the report contact me on 0401583500.
He also goes under another phone number.
His Bank account 062-948 1279 2564.
His alias was Christopher Sergio Parrott (probably stolen ID).
Commbank was useless, they said they will ask him politely to refund for 3 times and that's it. They asked for $25 search fee, I have been defrauded twice.
I hope people can find this page by looking for his alias or his bank account.
Got scammed for over $100 today by this number. He provided me with a licence which looked very legitimate and also a bank account in the same name. Have reported it to the police & it will be investigated. I advise others to do the same and get this bastard caught. Can never be too careful these days.
I was almost scammed today... Thank goodness for my gut instinct... A few answers to my questions via text rang alarm bells and after a quick Google search of his number and of the name on the license he sent me I learnt that he has scammed quite a few people the same way I was about to be scammed. I almost lost $550 but luckily walked away... Don't trust anyone!!! Do a quick search on anyone before committing to purchase. .
Yep this cunt got me to. I was looking for concert tickets. Wouldn't mind skinning them and pushing then into a pool on vinegar !!!!
Definitely a scam I have contacted the bank and should get money back. The person sends a photo of license and ID too so beware looks very legit. They get you to send money to an ATM and then they go and get it out and you do not see the gods. I was contacted by this number from my ad on Gumtree as I wanted concert tickets.
