This call was spam. The caller mentioned they had acquired my contact information through QR codes and sign-in sheets from events during the COVID-19 pandemic. I have also learned from a telemarketer that these phone numbers are sold in bundles by banks to scammers and telemarketers. I provided a fake name and the phone number of the local police station when they asked for my details.

I answered this call, but the caller hung up on me, which I found to be a waste of my time.
