Someone using this number called me and said that they were from my ISP. He said that their server had detected abnormal levels of data traffic. He asked me to visually check the status of the LED’s on my modem. He then asked which devices were connected to the router. He asked that I log on with my PC in order to check the status of the modem. Suspecting a scam, I terminated the discussion.
