Rang me at around 11am I didn't answer, I called back and no answer.
Yes had a few calls from this number.
Just block it.
I received a call from this number, no message etc, I attempted to call it back from a private number and it tells me the number is not connected, definetly a scam of some sort.
I think that these calls are some sort of regulatory organisation suspecting the person who they are calling is fraudulent regarding finances. The information they collect is simple. If a positive response is given by the called party (owns home and earns over some amount), when they have indicated otherwise, then that will hold as evidence. They tried it on me when all my actions have been completely legal and above board. Possibly private detectives.
I have been getting calls from this number for weeks and I haven't answered, decided to Google. This number is now blocked from calling me, thank you for all For letting me know!!
This number has been constantly calling me also if I answer they hang up I have reported them for harassment after trying to call back and sending a text thinking if may be someone from my school trying to contact me or my sons daycare.

This number kept trying to call me and never left a message so I googled it and found all the comment here. I decided to have some fun with them so the next time they called, I answered. A lady called Heather from 'Information Assist' started babbling about some tax incentive and wanted to know about my household income. I asked her for a website, then she stuttered and said they were a privately owned large call centre. I said that it was extremely bizarre not to have a website and then asked her for an abn.... She then hung up on me hahaha! Scammers!
Received two calls a couple of days apart from the above number. As some of the other comments suggest, on both occasions the person was very well spoken, appeared professional.
Advised they were calling from a company named "Information Assist", assisting small business owners to minimise tax and improve financial return.
I asked for their ABN, refused.
Told them I'd never heard of the incentive/scheme and that my accountant should be aware, their reply was that the accountants were not qualified or adequately informed to provide the information!!!
Went on to ask financial personal details, I refused, they persisted.
I advised the second caller that they should be ashamed of themselves and that it's very clear that it is a "scam". He appeared shocked by my comments and continued to insist the authenticity of the call. I told him I would be reporting the number to the police, he hung up.
The concerning issue is that they addressed me by my name, very personal.
I hope no one falls for these heartless criminals.
Same issues as already mentioned - wanting personal info. I asked him what the ATO govt incentive was as I was on their website and wanted to look at the details. He hung up.
Three days in a row now at about the same time I get a call from 0415 348 760. Usually my phone rings about three times and then they hang up. At first I thought it was mistake dial or something, but today I managed to answer and it sounded like a call centre, but then they hung up. Tried calling back, says the number isn't available and the voicemail is full. Frustrating.
Got a call from this number. He said he is calling from Infomation Assist in relation to government tax incentive to homeowners to save $$$. Started asking questions to see if I am eligible... married? Earning over $80K? paying off a mortgage? How much is mortgage? Not answering such personal questions.... I asked if he was in fact from calling me from the government... He hung up! This number is now blocked on my mobile so I will not be bothered by this caller again!

Well spoken lady who claims she works for Information Assist and wondering if I am eligible for tax benefits. I asked where she got my number she said database, I told her I looked after my own tax affairs and to take me off her 'database'. I didn't give her a chance to insist on personal details and I cut her short to get off the phone.
I receive a call on my Mobile Phone from 0415 348 760 but never replay back because lately I have been getting numerous calls from strangers that turned out to be Telemarketers and Scammers and Annoying Market Researches and Evil Electricity Companies trying to make me switch to them.
