What Our Users Reviewed
To me it looks, like scam. However if these repeated spammy messages (addressed to a wrong person by the way) are really from the Open Universities, they are doing themselves a big disservice by sending so much spam. Before this spam bombardment from OpenUnisAu began, I haven't heard of them, But now I have a strongly negative opinion about them. Now I would not choose to study there myself, and I would not hire an employee who has an Open Universities degree, because a degree from an institution run by spammers is worthless.
I received scam text messages from a sender claiming to be associated with Open Universities, but the messages were addressed to someone else. They requested that the recipient text back to the number 0407 098 263 to stop receiving messages. However, responding will only confirm the number is active, likely exposing it to more scam communications.
Scam/spam text message from OpenUniAu. I don't know how they got hold of my name and phone number.
I received a scam/spam text message from "OpenUniAu." I am unsure how they obtained my name and phone number, but I did not engage with the message.
This number is associated with legitimate communications regarding open university, so there is no need for concern here.
I received a suspicious text message stating that enrolments close in two days and included a link (bit.ly/3ynFpoR) to a website. I called the number 0407 098 263 provided in the text, but I was informed it was a disconnected number. This is certainly a scam, and I advise everyone to avoid clicking on the link.
