Just received a call from someone calling themselves Ryan Stone. Very Australian and trying to be overly friendly for a cold call. Said he was from the 'Australian Police'. As there is no 'Australian Police' (Australian Federal Police - yes, Australian Police - no) I knew it was going to be a scam or marketing. He said 'Friday's always a good day' and when I replied 'Every day's a Sunday when you're retired' he virtually said 'I'll let you go then' and hung up. Obviously wanting either a worker or a business to answer. Could hear a 'call centre' cacophony in the background.
