Got a dodgy call about selling Google positions. It reeked of all the usual scam nonsense. Stay sharp!

These cold-calling companies are a real pain in the backside! They should seriously get hit with some hefty fines!

This mob called me last week flogging their SEO services. When I told them we’ve got an in-house digital marketer, their cheeky reply was, 'Well, they must be pretty useless if they can't get you to the top!' I had to remind them not everyone’s just worried about suburb ratings, mate!

Got a call labeled “suspected spam” on my phone. I picked up but stayed silent, and guess what? They did the same! Just sat there in awkward silence before hanging up. Could hear some chatter in the background, probably a call center. Blocked the number – not falling for this nonsense!

Ugh, just had a chat with Nadia who clearly doesn’t know how to take a hint. She started off all sweet, then got all snarky when I said I wasn’t interested! Seriously, love, maybe try a little professionalism—you're not winning any fans here!

Rang our business number and said to sent a postcard but when question about the address they delivered try to switch the topic to sell advertising ranking on Google search.

After reading several complaints, it seems like this number has a different voice every time—definitely a scam trying to shove ads down our throats.

So, this bloke with an English accent rings me up wanting to boost my business to the top of Google. He got all shady when I asked what email he sent. It’s like, mate, if it’s that urgent, why not show some legit proof? He kept insisting I should be worried about losing my spot on Google if I don’t jump at his offer! Yeah, right.

I nicely told them I wasn’t keen on whatever crappy thing they were shilling, and they hung up on me! Gutted I didn’t get to slam the phone down first though!

Honestly, I wouldn’t even bother picking it up. I spent 12 minutes on the phone and they still couldn’t explain what their business was about. Talk about rude! They were all over me like my business isn’t my business, right? They kept going on about their British accent like it was the bomb, totally didn’t realize they were talking to another Brit! Classic.

Said they were following up on emails, which I didn't receive.

A caller contacted our business landline and hung up immediately after I picked up. This seems to be the behavior of a scammer.

Rang and said he has sent a postcard weeks ago addressed to business (male english accent, busy noise in background) wanted to speak to owner told they where unavailable wouldn’t leave a message or say what it was regarding.

The caller mentioned something about sending me a postcard, and I could hear background noise suggesting they were in a busy office environment. Since I operate a therapy business, I asked if she was interested in therapy services. When she politely declined, I explained that I needed to end the conversation.

I just received another call from this number asking about the YBL postcard program, which sounds very suspicious. I believe this is a scam and I plan to block the number.

I received a sales call promoting SEO services. When I declined their offer, the caller responded inappropriately, questioning my customer service skills. This type of behavior was very unprofessional and unacceptable.

A woman with a Danish accent called me, claiming to inquire if I received a postcard about updating my address. She mentioned something about Google doing this in the past and asked if I was speaking to the owner of a business without introducing herself. I found this suspicious and hung up the phone.

I was approached by a caller asking for money to help get my business listed at the top of Google searches. When I questioned the name of their company, the representative became very upset and threatened me. I have reported this to the police. Please be cautious of this individual.

These calls are from absolute scammers. I've received multiple calls from this UK-based group. It's crucial to avoid sharing any information about your business with them or signing up for any offers.

The caller was extremely rude and aggressive. We receive numerous calls like this every day, sometimes as many as 12 calls from digital marketers in just one day. The government should take action to stop these annoying calls.

I answered a call from this number, but as soon as I did, they hung up. In the background, I could hear a busy call center, which is quite frustrating, especially when I’m trying to run my business. These types of interruptions are not acceptable!

I received a call from a UK/British number while someone else mentioned receiving an Indian call from the same company. I am registered on the "do not call" list, so I don't understand why I am still receiving their calls. It’s very frustrating.

I received a call from an aggressive salesperson who pressured me about my business. He insisted that I must not care about my business's success if I refused to buy their services. He questioned why I was willing to spend money on Google advertising but not invest in their offering. The conversation became increasingly rude when I continued to decline, simply stating, "no, I’m okay."

The caller used Google to gather information about my business and attempted to sell me an expensive listing to appear among the top three search results. This clearly appears to be a scam designed to exploit unsuspecting business owners.
