I received a text message from scammers trying to trick me into clicking a link related to a Bitcoin scam. I have reported the message and blocked the sender, which seems to be part of the fallout from the recent Optus hack.

I've had several calls from this number and despite saying I was not interested, the calls keep coming. Yesterday I ignored the call and it went to voice mail. A message was generated which consisted of background telemarketing noise and two periods of a male voice talking in some foreign language, possibly Hindu by the accent. Probably scam.

+61399995483 If this isn't a scam then they are definitely NOT the kind of people I'd EVER want to do ANY business with anyway! Persistent little buggers, calling me many times a day over several days intermittently for 2 months, already told the first caller "NOT INTERESTED" got litigious with the last one (approx. the 12th call). Blocked 1st number already but they've got other outbound numbers (all very similar to this one) so told them their next call (from any of the numbers I have registered as belonging to them) will be auto-redirected to my solicitors offices.

I received a phone call from (03) 9999 5483. A lady who didn't know my name told me that I'd won $2.000 for a holiday, and asked me where I would like to go.

I explained that I was too busy watching a Micky Mouse cartoon, and suggested that she offer the prize to someone else.

This number has called me several times a day for the past month and I haven't been able to answer due to being at work, have tired to call back to see what the go was and it told me that I couldn't connect to the line. Most probably a scam.

Yes they offered membership for $490 total. Sounds like a scam.

Called today, I couldn't answer...didn't leave a message but you could hear "telemarketing background noise" (other operators taking and office noise) so most likely as other people here have said.

Can police doing something for this? It's really annoying. All the time they call me. Event I already put it number to reject phone, but it still keep try to call.

Has been calling my mobile no. & does not leave message. I suspect it's not legit. So have blocked it. I've had many scam calls lately. It seems that it only takes one person to get hold of your number. If I get interstate calls from a number I don't recognise, I routinely ignore it & block the no., as it couldn't be genuine. I don't have I/s family or friends.

Call me 3 times a day haven't answered.

Three calls to my mobile in a half hour between 5pm and 5.30 pm today. All missed, thanks for the scammers ID. I'll have an appropriate obscene response next time they call.

Calling once a day for the last 3 days. They've left one message and seemed to identify me but doesn't say what they are calling for (my message bank doesn't have my name).

Thank you to the previous commenter for identifying what this was.

THIS IS A SCAM - NOT LEGITIMATE!!!

They call themselves Premium Flight Club.

I'm a nationally qualified Travel Consultant.

As such I can confirm and inform you that "Premium Flight Club" is not legitimate, nor are they an Australian nationally qualified or registered Travel Agency (or business for that matter). They appear to be an offshore outcalling scam centre.

Block the number and report them. DO NOT provide them any personal or financial information.

Even though I'm on the governments Do Not Call register, they somehow still got my phone number. So don't rely on the Do Not Call register to keep these con artists from contacting you.

I hope this helps.

This Premium Flight Club scam has called me at least once a day over the last 3 days saying that I've won points to a holiday of my choice. All that I have to do is provide my card details and contact information over the phone for a one-time joining fee of $50.... Yeah nah.
