The phone number 03 9999 1392 has raised significant alarm among users, with consistent reports categorising it as a dangerous scam. User Experiences and Analysis
Recent user reports indicate a troubling pattern surrounding this phone number. Common themes arise from complaints about the calls:
- Generic Information: Several individuals reported that the caller failed to accurately identify themselves or the service they were offering. For instance, the individual did not confirm the recipient's name or current energy provider—showing a blatant disregard for personalisation, which legitimate businesses typically prioritise.
- Aggressive Tactics: Many users experienced repeated calls—over six calls in a single day for one individual—indicating an aggressively persistent telemarketing strategy where callers attempt to wear down the recipient to elicit a response.
- Lack of Identification: The users noted the difficulty in determining if the caller was associated with a reputable agency or service, which raises red flags indicating deceptive practices widely seen in scams.
Identifying the Scam

This number has called me six times in one day! The caller mentioned they were trying to compare energy prices, but they just won't stop calling.
Received a text, “Ok, how are you”. Not in my contacts and is silenced. Definite scam!!
I received a call from this number regarding my energy provider. However, the caller could not specify which provider they were referring to and failed to confirm my name. I believe this is a scam.
I keep receiving calls from this persistent individual using a private number, making it difficult to report him. Nonetheless, I contacted SA Power Networks to inform them about this situation.

Full scammer, cheap and nasty midi voice.2nd time was a human, but smelled of a big scammer. Just block unknown callers or use.
This number has called my entire family, and we believe it is a scam caller based on the nature of their communication.
The caller claimed to represent my power company but failed to provide the company's name. They talked about prompt bill payments and mentioned a bonus offer. When I responded with, "carry on, it's your story," they quickly retorted, "this is not a story telling call," and then disconnected.
Scam.
The caller claimed to represent SA Power Networks regarding better deals, but they did not have my correct name and provided only generic information. The call felt overly aggressive and seemed like a marketing attempt.
