The callers tried to reach me the following day after I informed them that I verified their legitimacy with Telstra. Upon this confirmation, they abruptly hung up, confirming my suspicion that they are scammers.

Gave me the Tech's name and ID Number, booked in an appointment. However number kept on dropping out when he tried to transfer me to his Manager for confirmation. Later phoned Telstra National Broadband Network and they confirmed this was a scam.
